Ms. Anusha, age 19 years, is doing her Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology at Victory Hospital Bangalore. She is the alumni of our school. She stays with her grandmother at Family Block in the campus of Sumanahalli. Both of her grandparents are affected by Leprosy. From the beginning of her education till she completed her Diploma, Sumanahalli Society has helped her financially. At present she is working in Victoria Hospital as OT Technician on contract basis and waiting for regular job.
Mr. Mounesh (son of Ramappa) 19 years old, and is physically challenged person due to polio. He was admitted in Sumanahlli 12 years before. He was from a remote village, called Nagalapur, Lingasur Taluk from Raichur District. There are 7 children in his family and they belong to Schedule caste and they were economically very poor. Their parents were unable to feed everyone in the family from their little income that they earned from the Coolie work. When Sumanahlli came to know about their background, we admitted 3 of them (boys) in our center including Mounesh. He studied in our school and later he completed his B.Com degree from Bangalore University. Till he studied B.Com Sumanahalli has helped me financially to pursue his studies. Now he is doing his M. Com.
